1992 : HEAL THE WORLD

Aujourd'hui je vais encore vous parler de Michael Jackson. :) Bon, pas de nail art ni de maquillage, juste du blabla comme ça, parce que j'ai envie et aussi parce que ce dont je vais vous parle après m'y a fait penser. 

On ne peut pas faire une semaine Michael Jackson sans parler de son engagement envers la planète et tant d’œuvres caritatives. Certes on a pu voir un bon paquet de mauvaises choses sur lui (amplifiées par les médias) mais il avait un bon fond. Grâce à sa tournée Victory Tour, il a récolté 5 millions de dollars afin de les redistribuer. Vous savez peut-être aussi qu'au début de sa carrière, alors qu'il tournait pour un spot publicitaire Pepsi, il a été brûlé assez gravement au cuir chevelu suite à un incident technique. Suite à cela, il utilisera l'argent de son assurance pour créer un centre pour les grands brûlés. On ne peut pas oublier qu'il a fondé la Heal the World Foundation, qu'il y a reversé tous les bénéfice de sa tournée Dangerous World Tour de 1992/1993.Il a aussi organisé des concerts privés dont les bénéfices allaient à des œuvres caritatives.

Et encore une fois, ce qui fait qu'on ne peut  pas oublier ça, ce sont ses chansons. :) En voilà une petite sélection !

Today, I'm going to talk about Michael Jackson again. :) There will be no nail art and no make up neither. I'm just gonna talk, because I want it and also because what I am going to talk about after makes me think of that. 

I cannot make a "Michael Jackson week" without talking about his commitement toward the Earth and so many charities. I know that we could see a lot of bad things about him because of the press (journalists always exagerate too much !) but he was a good fellow. Thanks to the Visctory Tour he earn $5 million he had given to charities. You may know that, at the beginning of his carreer, he filmed a Pepsi Cola commercial. But a technical accident set Michael's hair on fire. So, thanks to the money Pepsi gave him, he created the Michael Jackson Burn Center (in California). We cannot forget neither he created the Heal the World Foundation and donated to this charity organization all the money he engrossed thanks to his Dangerous World Tour in 1992/1993. 

One more time, we cannot forget this part of him thanks to his songs. :) So here is a little selection !

Sinon, je voulais vous parler de mes roues pour swatcher mes vernis. C'est tout nouveau (enfin je veux dire dans mes petites affaires lol) et bien pratique je dois avouer. Donc en fait ces petites choses m'ont fait penser à la terre et au fait qu'on cohabite sur la même planète, tous avec nos petites différences. Et là j'ai pensé à Michael Jackson et son engagement envers la planète avec Earth song.

So, I would like to show you my color wheel to make nail polish swatches. It is brand new (I mean in my own nail stuff lol) and I have to say that is so great ! And those wheels made me think of the Earth and that we all live together on this same planet, together even if we all have little differences. So I thonk of Michael Jackson and his commitment toward the planet with Earth song.

Donc en fait, je les ai classé par marque. J'ai fait une roue ELF, une China Glaze, une OPI et une Essie. 

I made them by brand. ELF, China Glaze, OPI and Essie have one wheel each one. 

Ensuite j'ai ai 2 autres avec les autres marques comme Eyeko, Kleancolor, Revlon... 

There are 2 others with all the other brands such as Eyeko, Kleancolor, Revlon...

Je ne vous mets pas les noms des vernis puisque vous pouvez les trouver ici. ;)
